Du er velkommen på Café Viking, Ægirsgade 36, KBH N torsdag den 21. oktober og fredag den 22. oktober kl. 19:30 samt lørdag den 23. oktober kl. 17:00. Det er gratis. Du dukker bare op. Pladser fordeles efter først til mølle-princippet.
På bodegaen kan du opleve en site specifik version af STRONG ENOUGH med omgivelserne som en aktiv del af fortællingen. Musikken er i højsædet i en hyldestkoncert med holdets musikalske fortolkninger af Chers sange iscenesat i et mere intimt format end i salen på Sort/Hvid.

STRONG ENOUGH is an invitation to a party with an activist power cover band. Here we idolize the pop cultural phenomenon Cher who has been the soundtrack of our childhood, youth, and adult parties. Cher is the idol you did not know you needed. Your pad on the back and kick in the ass. Your guilty pleasure. Your way to salvation. Together we become strong enough to be our own idol or whoever we want to be. Don’t care, be Cher.
Why Cher? Cher is more than a pop star. She is the personification of the entire history of pop music. She should be compared to Bowie, but because she is considered more pop than art, and perhaps because she is a woman, she is underestimated. She has produced disco, folk, punk, rock, and dance music. She was a stand-up comedian before the title existed. She is a tv-host, designer, producer. She has won an Oscar, an Emmy, and a Golden Globe. She came out as a pop queen at the age of 50, a twitter queen at the age of 70 and it said to be true that the only thing surviving an nuclear war will be cockroaches and Cher.
STRONG ENOUGH is created by director Jennifer Vedsted Christiansen and actors Mette Gregersen and Anna Bob Fredslund.
