Together with three other people, you are picked up by a chauffeur. The chauffeur drives you to places in the city that not many people have seen. He has something he wants to show you. There are those, who feel like the state have taken our freedom and made slaves of us all. The state, which is not even capable of responsibly managing our safety and freedom.

In TAXI DRIVERS you are taken through the streets of Copenhagen, out into the unknown corners of the city. The chauffeur shows us the things we want to hide away. He tells about customers he has met, about his powerlessness and feeling of meaninglessness. But he has not given up; he has taken matters into his own hands. He wants to act, to clean up the trash, he just does not know how. But perhaps this ride, with you, is when he is able to make a difference – and he is not alone, because you might feel the same way as he does…

TAXI DRIVERS is a co-production between Sort/Hvid, Fix+Foxy and Teater Nordkraft.
