KLUB KREATUR: SELMA JUDITH
TicketsSelma Judith has wowed reviewers and audiences with her music for years and has been honored with the awards Vocalist of the Year at Steppeulvprisen 2022 and Music Artist of the Year at Ibyen-prisen 2019. Now she’ll join Sort/Hvid to experiment with her performative persona.
For four days, Selma will, together with cellist Benedicte Adrian and director and performance artist Sophie Grodin, explore her performative side and create a staged concert. Here, the audience will meet the performative character of Selma Judith. This is an experiment with our expectations for the concert space. Selma Judith opens her laboratory at KLUB KREATUR on the 12th of December.
With her on stage, Selma has her harp, her voice and cellist Benedicte Adrian. The experiment is staged by Sophie Grodin in a clash between intimate concert and performance. They investigate the influence of the room, the connection with the audience and the artists’ transformation into performing characters.
Selma Judith is a trained harpist, and the harp is part of her music universe, which is soulful, melodic, dark and violent at the same time. She has released two albums: Half truths from a broken hearts from 2024 and I am getting angry now from 2021.

Come and have a drink with us and look behind the musical art that we create here in the old slaughter house. At KLUB KREATUR working artists open their laboratories and show the raw, crisp art while it is being created. It is a one-off performative experiment that only happen that one evening.
