EPICLOGUE
TicketsWelcome to EPICLOGUE – a powerful choreographic performance challenging the space left in society for the queer body. It can be unsecure, but can it be strong, visible and dominant? What does it mean to exist as queer in a cis-heteronormative society? How does one take up one’s space when one’s pure existence is seen as a provocation?
EPICLOGUE is a choreography of boundless movements. It is a rebellion against all limits of physical strength and expression. It is extreme vulnerability and extreme power in direct collision. When the performers seem unable to take any more, they go on.
Behind the performance is Køteren og Terrieren (The Bastard and The Terrier). An artistic duo consisting of the two dance and performance artists Bjørk-Mynte Paulse (she/her) and Jonathan Ibsen (he/him). Their artistic practice is rooted in challenging and questioning societal norms. Through the lens of a trans woman of colour and a white gay man, they explore the world and contextualize issues surrounding gender, sexuality, and identity.
