From the rubble, AFSKUM uncovers the past, revealing what it once was, and what it might become: the knife, the sea, wild poppies sprouting in Nordvest, and two boys who prayed for the spirits and their PlayStation.
AFSKUM GLEMMER ALDRIG is a music performance where the band moves beyond the explosive energy of their usual live performances. Experience a reimagined band setup in an intimate experiment with AFSKUM’s hard-hitting lyrical universe. Their lyrics and sonic landscape are merged with stories from outside of AFSKUM’s albums. With Astrid Gade as director, the storytelling of AFSKUM’s lyrics is brought to life by letting the symbols of the text seep out between the bricks.
Behind AFSKUM are songwriter and vocalist Prince Askar and producer August Kulmann Halle. Joining them on stage are musicians Markus Jonasson Nielsen (bas), Mikkel Trøjborg Fink (drums), and Asbjørn Elle (cello). AFSKUM is currently touring with their highly acclaimed second album, “HJERTET OG KNIVEN.”
