Seminar: Music Theatre of the Future
TicketsIn collaboration with Dansk Teater 300 år (Danish Theater 300 years) and NordicOpera Sort/Hvid invites you to a full-day seminar on the future of music dramatics.
As a scene for music theatre Sort/Hvid is committed to explore how music theatre can and should evolve. What formats, themes and expressions confront, comment and engage in a time characterized by war, crisis and new agendas?
We now invite colleagues and audience to participate in a seminar where some of the most interesting contemporary international and national artists and institutions will present their work. We want to be inspired, learn and share experiences, reflections and perceptions.
Keynote speakers are Ulrich Lenz (Head of dramaturgy 2012-2022, Komischer Oper Berlin, DE), Katie Mitchell (Director of opera and theater, UK), Madeleine Kate McGowan (Performance artist and filmmaker, DK), Simon Steen-Andersen (Composer, DK) og Josefine Opsahl (Composer and cellist, DK).
The seminar is moderated by the artistic director of Sort/Hvid, Christian Lollike.
The day will consist of professional content until 6 pm and hereafter an artistic performance by Josefine Opsahl and possibility for participants to talk with each other and have a glass and a bite at the bar at Sort/Hvid.
