NATSVÆRMER
Reading of NATSVÆRMER (Moth) by Nazila Kivi
NATSVÆRMER (Moth) invites the audience into exile in the City of Tales – at first glance a utopian wonderland. A stranger, of perhaps human origin, arrives in a town where everyone knowns their place. Everyone knows who they are. Everyone has an identity, and no one questions it. Neither does the new one – or does she? Critic and translator Nazila Kivi interprets the Iranian political theatre and satire tradition from her childhood in a cold, Nordic reality.
Part of S/H Readings during CPH Stage:
NATSVÆRMER (Moth) is a part of S/H Reading taking place at Sort/Hvid during the theatre festival CPH Stage. Here you can experience readings of theatre plays that are all under development. Plays that in each their way investigates the politically polished welfare system.
Presented in cooporation with the organisation Danske Dramatikere (Danish Playwrights)
